About the Author

Benjamin P. Lecuona

During college, Benjamin P. Lecuona discovered a love for storytelling, finding comfort and inspiration in novels. Writing became both a creative outlet and a therapeutic escape, allowing him to explore new ideas and share them with others.

By day, Benjamin balances a full-time job, while his free moments are dedicated to weaving stories. Drawn to novels and fiction, his literary palate is seasoned with the works of Gabriel Garcia Marques, Armistead Maupin, Virginia Woolf, and Suzanne Collins.

A special addition to his life—a rescue cat—sparked the idea for a bilingual children’s book series. This charming project features adventures set in San Francisco, told in both English and Spanish, aiming to entertain young readers while encouraging language learning.

In addition to his children’s series, Benjamin is working on a fantasy novel inspired by his lifelong love of video games. This story, set in a magical land, explores themes of self-discovery and adventure while celebrating the beauty of imagination.

The heart of Benjamin’s writing lies in championing acceptance and love, particularly exploring relationships within the LGBTQ+ spectrum. In both the bilingual children’s series and the fantasy epic, he seeks to dissolve distinctions, aiming for a seamless reader experience regardless of the characters’ backgrounds.
With an unwavering hope that readers will embrace the worlds crafted in his books, Benjamin aspires for the bilingual series to inspire second language acquisition and the fantasy novel to instill a love for adventurous storytelling.
